"Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner" Two companies selected!

The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games signed sponsorship agreements with Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) and Asahi Breweries for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, holding press conferences on January 26 and 27, respectively.

Both agreements designate the companies as "Tokyo 2020 Gold Partners," the highest domestic sponsorship tier. NTT's contract category is "Communication Services," while Asahi Breweries' is "Beer & Wine." Gold Partners hold rights including the use of the Games' official names and marks in Japan, access to the Recognition Program, sponsorship rights for related events, and opportunities to supply products and services.

Tokyo 2020 President Yoshiro Mori stated, "We are delighted to announce the contract with NTT as the first Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner.
