Meiji New TV Commercial Presentation Featuring Yuriko Ishida as the "Radiant Woman" and... That famous athlete?

Meiji held a new TV commercial launch event at The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo in Minato Ward on the 26th, ahead of the March 30th release of its new product, "Amino Collagen Yogurt."

This product combines Meiji's popular beauty collagen brand "Amino Collagen" with LB81 lactic acid bacteria, creating a yogurt that "deliciously hydrates from within." It comes in two types: cup and drink.

The "Moisturized Woman Born" and "Girls' Gathering" commercials, airing from the launch date, feature actress Yuriko Ishida and talent Bibiru Oki as a married couple. They depict Ishida, who has made eating yogurt a habit, engaging in warm interactions with Oki, centered around the keyword "moisture."　　　　　　　　　Appearing in spring attire, Ishida revealed she personally eats yogurt daily with fruit and nuts. "For women, 'moisturized' is a delightful word," she said, adding, "I'm also weak for the sound of 'collagen'." Regarding the commercial shoot, she commented, "It was a moisturizing set."

The company designated March 30th as "Wife's Moisturizing Day" to commemorate the new product launch. To support this, comedian Junichi Davidson rushed to the venue. Davidson, known for his impersonation of soccer player Keisuke Honda, appeared in a white suit reminiscent of the player. Davidson presented Ishida with a mimosa wreath, proudly declaring, "This is the Milan way." He drew laughter by explaining that in Italy, it's customary for men to give flowers to women as a token of appreciation, adding, "I heard that from Zaccheroni."

When Ishida asked, "What's the secret to complimenting your wife?", he replied, "While you're agonizing over whether to say 'beautiful' or 'cute', your wife will be gone... That's all!" To "Can you eat a cake your wife made by mixing up sugar and salt?", he responded, "If you have a strong will, even salt tastes sweet!" His Honda-esque delivery and quirky answers had the audience roaring.

Ishida-san discussed "Wife's Moisturizing Day," stating, "If wives and mothers are moisturized, the world becomes brighter and more joyful," promoting Amino Collagen Yogurt as the catalyst for this.
