GW is all about meat!! This year's "Meat Festival" is happening!

The season has arrived for "Niku Fes" (Meat Festival), a food event gathering renowned meat restaurants from across Japan (Organized by: Food Nations Executive Committee [AATJ, Dentsu Inc., Recluster]).
"Food Nations ~ Meat Festival TOKYO 2015 Spring ~" is being held at Komazawa Olympic Park Central Square in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo (First Session: April 24-29, Second Session: May 1-6).
The venue expects a total of 550,000 visitors during the event period.

Thirty popular meat restaurants have booths at the venue. Visitors can enjoy various dishes like steak, hamburgers, fried chicken, and kebabs, while drink booths offer craft beers from across the country.
Couples, families, and many meat-loving women were drawn by the enticing aroma of grilled meat, forming long lines. Collaborative dishes with the anime "Shokugeki no Soma" (first half only) and the movie "Parasyte: The Final Chapter" (second half only) are also available, making it enjoyable for a wide range of ages.
Large tents provided tables and chairs for seated dining. A "VIP Area" (paid, reservations accepted) offered dedicated seating with concierge service, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the festival while skipping the long lines for popular restaurants.
On the stage, over 30 artists, including popular idol groups and musicians, performed live shows on a daily rotation. At night, adult-oriented stages featuring belly dancing and pole dancing were also held.

Besides Komazawa, "Food Nations~Meat Festival MAKUHARI 2015 Spring~" will also be held at Toyosuna Park in front of AEON Mall Makuhari Shintoshin Grand Mall in Chiba City from May 1st to 10th.
Furthermore, from May 1st to 6th and on the 9th and 10th, "Food Nations ~ Meat & Tuna Festival 2015 Spring Yokosuka Soleil Hill ~" will be held at Soleil Hill in Nagai Uminote Park, Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, also offering tuna dishes.
