"Actually, it's interesting!" "Actually, it's cute!" Discovering and sharing regional charm from a gal's perspective! Dentsu Inc. launches "Gal Lab@"

Dentsu Inc. has launched a new planning team, "Gal Lab @ (at)", within its "Dentsu Gal Lab" unit. Gal Lab @ specializes in regional revitalization and supports clients' marketing activities with a uniquely female perspective.
Gyaru Lab @ is composed of female strategic planners, copywriters, art directors, and others, and will tackle various regional revitalization projects.

Dentsu Inc. Gal Lab, established in March 2010, is an internal cross-functional planning team that supports various companies' product and service development, sales promotion, and more, using female insights as its starting point.

The newly launched 'Gal Lab@' will leverage the knowledge and expertise cultivated by Dentsu Inc. Gal Lab to support the development of local governments and regional businesses. Working in collaboration with the internal 'Regional Revitalization Office,' it will promote the development and provision of diverse solutions.

Many things in regional areas—things that locals take for granted and overlook—can appear "actually interesting" or "actually cute!" when viewed from an outsider's perspective. The "Reverse Appeal Project," which rediscovers these hidden regional charms, rebrands them, and promotes them, is one of the unique solutions offered by Gal Lab@.

Starting in early July, we have already decided to promote the "Reverse Appeal Project @ Oita" in collaboration with the Oita Women's Department of the Oita Godo Shimbun.
This project involves Gal Lab@ members visiting Oita Prefecture to discover "opposite-is-great" assets from a uniquely female perspective. They will rebrand these charms and promote them through newspapers and websites, aiming to enhance Oita Prefecture's appeal.
