Dentsu Inc.'s Youth Research Department (Dentsu Inc. Wakamon), which aims to understand the realities of young people and build better relationships between youth and society, will launch a special site called "Campus Festival Summary 2015" on July 31st. This new service, developed in collaboration with university marketing specialist U-Campus, aggregates information on campus festivals nationwide and matches them with corporate sponsorship activities. It will be offered as a new feature of "Circle Up"*, an integrated mailing list platform targeting university clubs and similar groups.
While some festivals in the Tokyo metropolitan area attract over 100,000 attendees, corporate sponsorship activities remain relatively inactive. Although constrained by the educational setting, the primary reason for this lack of sponsorship activity is that student-led festival organizing committees lack accumulated know-how in securing sponsors and connections with companies.
In response to this situation, "Gakuen Matsuri Summary 2015" will feature content advising students on creating sponsorship menus and related materials. For companies, it will introduce each university's sponsorship options. Furthermore, when companies contact Dentsu Inc. Wakamon regarding festival sponsorship or university student promotions, Circle Up's "Offer Function" will be utilized to approach festival executive committee members registered with Circle Up.
