The Energy Management House Secretariat will hold "Energy Management House 2015" in Yokohama Minato Mirai 21 starting October 17.
This second iteration, themed around "Energy," "Life," and "Asia," will showcase advanced technologies and innovative living concepts through university-private sector collaboration. Five universities—Kanto Gakuin, Shibaura Institute of Technology, Yamaguchi, Ritsumeikan, and Waseda—selected through public recruitment will participate. They will construct and exhibit five model houses designed by their students.
Amid growing attention on Net Zero Energy Houses (ZEH), which aim for net-zero annual energy consumption, the event seeks to build and demonstrate these model houses, allowing many people to experience them firsthand.
