On January 6, the Japan Public Relations Association selected Michael Leitch, captain of the Japan national rugby team and member of Toshiba Brave Lupus, as the 2015 "Japan PR Grand Prize Person of the Year," and Isumi Railway as the "Japan PR Grand Prize Citizen of the Year."
The Japan PR Awards annually recognize the most outstanding individual from a public relations perspective as the "Japan PR Awards Person of the Year," and an individual or organization that has contributed to community development through persistent and innovative PR activities as the "Japan PR Awards Citizen of the Year." The awards have been presented annually since their establishment in 1998.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 25 at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi, Minato-ku, during the "New Year PR Festa 2016" hosted by the association.
