Mister Donut CM Shizuka Arakawa Demonstrates New Move "Pon de Bauer"

Mr. Donut, operated by Duskin, began selling three new "Nobinobi Pon de Ring" products at stores nationwide starting February 10th.

This product further enhances the "stretchiness" of the dough's chewy texture, one of the defining features of Mister Donut's top-selling "Pon de Ring." It will be available for a limited time until mid-May.

To coincide with the launch, a new TV commercial featuring professional figure skater Shizuka Arakawa, titled "Nobinobi Pon de Ring: Shizuka Arakawa's Nobinobi Skate," is airing. Set during a figure skating ice show, the spot shows Ms. Arakawa gliding elegantly across the ice under the spotlight. A close-up reveals she has a "Nobinobi Pon de Ring" in her mouth, which stretches beautifully with each jump, turn, and spin. The performance culminates with a new move, the "Pon de Bauer," a twist on her signature "Inaba Bauer." The contrast between her elegant performance and the sight of her holding a donut in her mouth creates an amusing effect.
