Fujitsu General has cast Kento Yamazaki in its new commercial for the Nocria X.

Fujitsu General held a press conference on February 17 at Akihabara UDX Akiba Square in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, to unveil a new TV commercial for its "Nocria X" air conditioner.

The Nocria X is a home room air conditioner that achieves supreme comfort by newly incorporating the world's only "Hybrid Airflow" and a "3D Temperature Sensor." The latest model was released last October.

The new commercial, airing nationwide starting February 20, features Kento Yamazaki, a young actor gaining significant attention. Ayaka Hisashima from the Product Strategy Department opened by highlighting the evolved features and appeal of the Nocria X. She emphasized how it overcomes the weakness of conventional air conditioners, which often create uneven heating or cooling temperatures, allowing users to feel comfortable anywhere in the room.

Following the screening of the new commercial, "Warmth Anywhere Edition," Yamazaki took the stage. "I never imagined I could become an air conditioner character, so I'm thrilled," he said, sharing his thoughts and enthusiasm about being selected as the image character. "I want to effectively convey the appeal of the Nocria X: 'Warmth Anywhere' and 'Comfort Anywhere.'"

When asked about the highlights of the commercial, he reflected on the multi-camera simultaneous filming process: "They filmed dozens of takes of me and showed me the CG-composited footage on the day. It's rare to see so many versions of yourself, so I really enjoyed the shoot." Regarding the most challenging scene, he smiled wryly, "Reading a book on the stairs was tough."

Before filming, Yamasaki experienced the actual performance of the Nocria X unit. He commented, "Today I experienced the heating function. It warmed me from my feet up, and without any direct airflow hitting me, it was very comfortable and easy to relax in. I hope everyone using Nocria X can enjoy a comfortable space. I also want to become someone who can create comfortable spaces."
