"Deliver Courage! 2016" Recruiting general participants for an event supporting the Japanese national team competing in the Rio Games.

The Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC) will hold the "Deliver Courage 2016" event to support the Japanese delegation competing in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics this August. The event will take place on July 3 at the National Yoyogi Stadium in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo.

As the title suggests, the event theme is "Deliver Courage!" It aims to collaborate with the children who will lead the next generation to create an event that delivers joy and excitement to athletes and participants alike, while also fostering greater interest and enthusiasm for the Olympics among the children through the event.

The JOC is recruiting approximately 2,000 general participants to help energize the event.

In addition to the participation of the Japanese Olympic Team, sportscaster Shuzo Matsuoka will appear as the Cheer Leader, and the cheer artist group "Yuzu" will also perform.
