The House will be located at the Cidade das Artes complex, approximately a 15-minute drive from the Olympic Park. It will serve as a base for activities by related organizations during the Games. In addition to being a venue for promoting Japan and Tokyo through an all-Japan effort involving the Organizing Committee, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, relevant ministries and agencies, partners, and local governments, it will host press conferences for Japanese athletes, various receptions, and provide hospitality services for stakeholders.
The facility will feature various booths and content designed to entertain general visitors.
As the host city for the 2020 Games, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will promote Tokyo's appeal under the theme "City of Water." Through interactive exhibits, it will showcase the city's evolving nature, lifestyle, culture, and technology.
The Organizing Committee will announce the Tokyo Games' vision, outline, emblem, the new National Stadium, additional events, and other key details.
In the Ministry and Agency Area, the Cabinet Office, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, National Tax Agency, Agency for Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries/JETRO, and Japan Tourism Agency/JNTO will collaborate to promote Japanese cuisine, offer 8K video experiences, and introduce food, traditional culture, and tourism information.
Additionally, exhibition areas for Tokyo 2020 Games partners and local governments will be established.
