Sports Lottery PR Movie Isn't Matsuki passionately explaining soccer?

The Japan Sports Council (JSC) has released a promotional video for sports lottery tickets (toto and BIG) titled "Anything Exciting with Yasutaro Matsuki" online starting February 18.

This promotes the resumption of sports lottery sales targeting J.League matches, coinciding with the opening of the 2017 Meiji Yasuda J.League season.

The three-part video features soccer commentator Yasutaro Matsuki. Known for his passionate match commentary, Matsuki delivers a series of heartfelt lines reminiscent of his famous past calls, such as: "I just wanna grab it with my hands!", "At times like this, you gotta go 'Gah! Boom!'!", and "Once they get that speed going, it's dangerous, no doubt." Just when everyone thinks it's his usual soccer commentary, the punchline hits: in the latter half of the movie, it turns out he was actually commentating on something completely different from soccer.

Mr. Matsuki commented, "It was all unrelated to soccer, but with the support of the filming staff, I think I managed to explain it well. I usually commentate on my own golf, after all (laughs)."
