The prefecture has been sequentially releasing all 18 titles of its "Welcome to Akita! 'Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries' Full-Flavored PR Video" series targeting potential migrants from the Tokyo metropolitan area since the 14th. The series, based on the concept "Akita Nature, Akita Prefecture," covers a wide range of topics including natural resources, traditional events, food culture, and the daily lives of people engaged in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. The aim is to promote relocation by showcasing the vibrant expressions and authentic lifestyles of people working in Akita.

This "Akina Song" edition serves as a compilation of the series. While watching the main video, clicking on characters or scenery triggers linked videos providing more detailed information.

The video production was led by a director, planner, and art director all hailing from Akita Prefecture, with production handled by a local film company. The powerful vocals featured in the "Akina Uta" episode are provided by actor Toshiro Yanagiba, also an Akita native. The song is based on the children's song "Song of the Shore" composed by the late Tamezo Narita, also from Akita, with lyrics and arrangement by other Akita natives. Yanagiya, recording in a studio for the first time in 17 years, commented, "I felt the joy and pride of creating something together with fellow Akita natives. The charm of Akita's 'akina' lies in its 'people'. Let's all continue working hard for the prefecture."
