The Osaka Advertising Association held an awards ceremony for its 70th anniversary project, the "Advertising Works Contest ~Aitakaten, in Osaka~," during a commemorative event at Taikoen in Miyakojima Ward, Osaka City, on April 13.
The contest invited submissions of creative works depicting Osaka's special meeting spots, each imbued with personal sentiment. The following three works were awarded the Grand Prix.
Theme: Tommy-kun bronze statue in Jūsan Honichi Shopping Street. Created based on the experience of being encouraged by Tommy-kun wearing a "Fight" sash after the fire three years ago.

Hisakatsu Ichida (Osaka City)
This work depicts lovers' encounters and the birth of their children, set against the backdrop of Osaka's famous meeting spots, expressing the livability of the city.

Satomi Kikuchi (Suita City / 3rd Grade, 9 years old)
A third-grader filled with dreams expressed her love for Expo Park, a place where many people gather to enjoy cherry blossom viewing and soccer games, and which is also one of her favorite spots.
