Spin-off Video Released "Craft Boss" Inspired by "Your Name."

On April 14, Suntory Beverage & Food International released a spin-off video titled "TOKYO" featuring actor Ryo Narita, who stars in the TV commercial ( http://dentsu-ho.com/articles/5042 ) for the bottled coffee "KRAFT BOSS." The video is available on a special website ( http://www.suntory.co.jp/softdrink/craftboss/ ) and the official YouTube channel.

In the commercial, Narita plays an employee at an app development company who shares his name. The video depicts Narita, who has moved to Tokyo from the countryside, navigating the chaotic, busy days of a young worker in the city. It portrays his struggles and determination at work, created to support everyone striving in a new city away from their hometown.

The story was inspired by the hit animated film "Your Name." Narita voiced Teshigahara Katsuhiko (Tesshi), a classmate of the film's protagonist, Miyanaga Mitsuha. The video reportedly began with the idea: "Would that Teshigahara also struggle and wrestle with worries like Narita once he grew up?"

The setting includes locations featured in the film, such as the footbridge in Shinano-cho, the bustling streets of Shinjuku, and the area near Shinjuku Station's Southeast Exit, allowing viewers to experience a "pilgrimage to the sacred sites" feeling. Additionally, the music features an arrangement of the film's theme song, "Nothing Special," specifically for the video, further immersing viewers in the world of "Your Name."

The distinct expressions of Narita seen in both the commercial and the video are particularly striking.
