'Mutterings' was released on April 21st. The author is Mr. Yoshihiko Kurosu, a CM planner at Singata. This book compiles the serialized feature "Actress and Fantasy Drive Date" from the magazine 'The Power of Grandchildren' published by Kirakusha from November 2013 to May 2015.
This book is a collection of photographs and essays documenting Mr. Kurosu's actual drive dates with 16 popular actresses. Each date was based on a fantasy theme, such as: - Haru as a "New OL" - Rei Dan as a "Mysterious Intelligence Agent" - Yu Aoi as a "Classmate" - Tamayo Kusakari as a "Private Tutor"
Each actress appears styled according to the theme. Inside the car during the drive, it's just Kurosu and the actress. The actresses seem to embrace their date roles naturally and appear to be enjoying themselves.
Mr. Kurosu's "mutterings" accompanying the date photos reveal sides of the actresses rarely seen. The result is a uniquely individual work, more akin to a rare book than something you'd find on a bookstore shelf.
