"JO-TERRACE OSAKA" Opens in Osaka Castle Park! A New Landmark Spot Surrounded by Greenery
The Osaka Castle Park Management Consortium opened "JO-TERRACE OSAKA," a commercial facility centered around restaurants, in front of JR Loop Line's "Osakajō-kōen" Station on June 22.
An opening ceremony was held that same day at a special venue in the station plaza, attended by Osaka Mayor Hirofumi Yoshimura and many other officials who gathered to celebrate the opening.
Twenty stores opened at launch, including restaurants and cafes, an Osaka Castle Park information center, retail shops, and convenience facilities for runners. The complex targets a wide range of visitors to the area, such as tourists, nearby businesses and residents, and users of Osaka-jo Hall. Designed with a Japanese modern concept, it is a relaxing terrace that blends well with the lush green surroundings.
Within the Osaka Castle Park area, the commercial facility "MIRAIZA OSAKA-JO" (Miraiza Osaka Castle), utilizing the historic building of the former Fourth Division Headquarters in the Honmaru Plaza, is scheduled to open this fall.
