The Japan Public Relations Association announced the winners of the 2013 PR Award Grand Prix on December 4. This award selects and honors one Grand Prix winner and four category winners from outstanding PR and communications skill examples (works) recommended and nominated by members and companies. This year's Grand Prix was awarded to TBWA Hakuhodo/Hakuhodo for "Proto Leaf's Corporate Communication: 'Full Course of Soil'".
The category winners were: Corporate Communication: Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Bid Committee's "Strategic PR Activities for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Bid" Marketing Communication: AbbVie/Eisai's "October 29 'World Psoriasis Day' Awareness Event: 'Aspiring Hairdressers Learn About the Feelings of Psoriasis Patients for the First Time'" The Social Communication category award went to Wakazou for "Election Discount (Senkyo-Wari)"; and the Innovation/Skill category award went to Hakuhodo for "Scientific PR Approach in China Utilizing 'Reprinting'".
