U.S. resort operator Las Vegas Sands announced a partnership with former England soccer star David Beckham.

The partnership involves the company's subsidiary, the Singapore casino resort Marina Bay Sands (MBS), and Sands China's Asian operations in Macau; it does not include U.S. operations. They will collaborate in areas related to concept development for dining, retail, and leisure.

Beckham's high profile and proven ability to drive business and community engagement are highly anticipated. Michael Levine, President and COO of Las Vegas Sands, which has been seeking opportunities to expand its Asian operations, commented, "Partnering with David Beckham will accelerate our growth."
