Dentsu Inc.'s Yusuke Sato Wins 2017 "Creator of the Year" Award
Yusuke Sato of Dentsu Inc. has been awarded the 2017 "Creator of the Year" prize, sponsored by the Japan Advertising Association (Chairman: Junji Narita).
This award recognizes an individual creator from member companies who produced the most outstanding creative work in 2017. Since its inception in 1989, this marks the 29th time the award has been presented. This is the 27th time a Dentsu Inc. creator has been selected as Creator of the Year.
Sato was honored as Creator of the Year for his work over the past year, which spanned television commercials, web, and real-world initiatives. His multifaceted approach significantly strengthened and enriched various brands, generating the most buzz.
Additionally, Masayuki Furukawa (CDC GCD, Marketing & Creative Center, Kansai Branch) was selected for the "Special Jury Prize" for the first time in five years since 2012.

This truly is thanks to so many people. All I can say is, I'll keep working hard from here on out.
Receiving this award has made me want to create ads that really grab the attention of teenagers.
And I hope it might just make them want to dive into the world of advertising.
Because that's the world of advertising that drew me in when I was a teenager.
I'm so glad I took that leap. Truly.
