Dentsu Inc. and Dentsu Digital Inc. Establish In-House Development Team for Cutting-Edge AI-Powered Creativity

― AI and Human Creators Collaborate to Create New Value ―

Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshihiro Yamamoto) and Dentsu Digital Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shuji Yamaguchi) announced the launch of the "AI Creators Club(TM)" on March 15. This specialized team will develop cutting-edge creative work using AI as part of the activities of the "AI MIRAI" AI management project launched within Dentsu Inc. this January.

Recognizing that the application of AI to creative work is becoming a key strategy for enhancing customer experience, both companies will prioritize this theme in their development efforts.

Specifically, this involves accelerating creative production through collaboration between AI and human creators, while also enhancing the efficiency and sophistication of planning in mass media domains. The creative output will not be 100% AI-generated; instead, it will combine the insights of our group's planners and copywriters to create new expressions that neither AI alone nor humans alone can achieve. Additionally, the team will work on dialogue design for AI chatbots and AI smart speakers.

Furthermore, to create customer experiences, we will advance the integration of creative and data. By linking various data using 'People Driven Marketing'—an integrated framework that consolidates and enhances marketing methodologies within the Dentsu Group from a human-centric perspective—we will produce creative work that leads to the creation of new customer experiences.

AI engineers from Data Artist Inc. (Dentsu Group Inc.), a subsidiary since February this year and a specialist in AI development for marketing, will also participate in these development projects. By collaborating between Dentsu Group creators and Data Artist's AI engineers, we aim to create practical prototypes for creative development.

Moving forward, Dentsu Inc. and Dentsu Digital Inc. will continue to deliver new value to client companies and society by realizing diverse collaborations between AI and human creators.
