Dentsu Inc. has secured exclusive rights for the 2018 production of "Captain Tsubasa" in Asia/Oceania, including program distribution rights, merchandising rights, and advertising usage rights.

Dentsu Inc. Acquires Exclusive Rights for Program Distribution, Merchandising, and Advertising Use of "Captain Tsubasa" (2018 Production Version) in Asia/Oceania

Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshihiro Yamamoto), in collaboration with TSUBASA Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshihiro Iwamoto), has exclusively acquired the program distribution rights, merchandising rights, and advertising usage rights for the new anime series "Captain Tsubasa" (2018 Production Version) in Asia and Oceania (※).

Captain Tsubasa enjoys extremely high recognition, reaching approximately 70% in Hong Kong and Indonesia (Japan Brand Survey 2017). Furthermore, many prominent European soccer players are fans of Captain Tsubasa, and it is said to have inspired them to start playing soccer.

Moving forward, the company will collaborate with its overseas group companies to leverage the rights to the popular Japanese content "Captain Tsubasa" (2018 production version), promoting sports development and business expansion internationally. Furthermore, through partnerships with national football associations, it will create sports marketing opportunities for its sponsor companies.
