"Dream Jumbo" lottery tickets now on sale! Campaigns themed around the Rugby World Cup and Takarazuka Revue are underway.

The "Dream Jumbo Lottery" (743rd National Autonomous Lottery), offering a total of 500 million yen for the first prize and adjacent prizes, and the "Dream Jumbo Mini" (744th National Autonomous Lottery), offering a total of 50 million yen for the first prize and adjacent prizes, went on sale nationwide simultaneously on April 4th. A commemorative event was held at the Nishi-Ginza Chance Center in Chuo Ward, Tokyo.

At the center's sales counter, known as a famous spot for high-value winning tickets, many lottery fans lined up from early morning. At the start of sales, the lottery's "Goddess of Fortune" took the stage and announced, "This year, the combined number of winning tickets worth 100,000 yen or more for both Dream Jumbos is 35,621, about 2.8 times the previous year's figure, significantly increasing the probability of high-value wins."

Joining CM characters actor Koji Yakusho and Yua Shinkawa on stage for a talk show was former Japan national rugby team member Daisuke Ohata.

Dream Jumbo supports the Rugby World Cup 2019 under the concept "Try for a Jumbo Dream!" TV commercials and advertisements feature rugby-themed content, and a campaign offering prizes like gourmet items from host cities is being held.

Shinkawa, who appears in the commercial as the samurai's daughter portrayed by Yakusho, expressed her delight at being cast: "I was very surprised when I got the offer. Samurai are my favorite characters, so appearing in the commercial feels like a dream." Yakusho responded with an embarrassed expression at the unexpected character setting: "I never thought the samurai was the type to get married, and I certainly never imagined he'd have such a beautiful daughter."

Mr. Ohata, serving as a Rugby World Cup ambassador, shared his thoughts as the tournament approaches next year: "For rugby players, the World Cup is the dream stage. That it's being held in Japan is truly a jumbo-sized dream. I can't wait for the tournament."

Shinkawa commented on rugby players, saying, "They seem like they'd protect you. They look deep and cool." Yagyo-san then shared an anecdote: "In high school, I played in a class rugby tournament and we won. Experiencing that battle-like atmosphere made me truly fall in love with the sport."

In a scene where Shinagawa, wearing the Japan national team jersey, tackled the lottery mascot Kuu-chan to wish for the tournament's success, she bravely started off following Ohata's advice but unexpectedly slowed down. Ending with a smile and a hug, Ohata remarked, "Personally, I'd love to be tackled like that." Shinagawa smiled and replied, "In the commercial, I tackle a samurai, so I intended to do the same. But Ku-chan was just too cute, so I couldn't do it," she smiled.

The two types of Dream Jumbo tickets are on sale until April 27th, with the drawing held at the Takarazuka Grand Theater in Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, on May 11th. Winners of the campaign application and lottery can enjoy spectacular stages, including an exclusive performance by the Takarazuka Revue Star Troupe.
