― Agreement Reached to Acquire 100% of Shares in Major Creative Agency "Whitespace Inc." ―

Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toshihiro Yamamoto; Capital: ¥74,609.81 million) has reached an agreement with the shareholders of Whitespace (Scotland) Limited (Headquarters: Edinburgh, Joint Managing Partners: Iain Valentine and Phillip Lockwood-Holmes, hereinafter "Whitespace"), a leading UK creative agency, to acquire 100% of its shares through its overseas headquarters, Dentsu Inc. (※).

Founded in 1997, Whitespace has grown into a leading creative agency in Scotland, UK, focusing on digital and brand design. It currently employs approximately 70 people and provides diverse client companies with its unique specialized services, ranging from brand strategy development, digital advertising production, and content development to integrated campaigns encompassing mobile, AR, and VR.

Through this acquisition, our group will strengthen its creative-related services in the UK and expand its business scale and scope within the country.

The impact of this transaction on the consolidated results for the fiscal year ending December 2018 will be minimal.
