Valentine Jumbo Lottery Now on Sale The "Ideal 300 Million Yen Date Plan" is...

On January 30th, the "Valentine Jumbo Lottery" and its "Mini" version went on sale nationwide.

The Valentine Jumbo features a first prize of 200 million yen, with front and back prizes of 50 million yen each, making the combined first and front/back prizes a highly attractive 300 million yen. The simultaneously released "Mini" offers a first prize of 20 million yen, with front and back prizes of 5 million yen each. While the combined prize for first and front/back prizes is 30 million yen, it features a higher number of winning tickets: 25 first prizes and 50 front/back prizes (both assuming 5 units).

Additionally, special prizes are offered for both the Jumbo and Mini: the "Valentine Prize" (¥20,000 for 60,000 tickets) and the "Mini Valentine Prize" (¥30,000 for 5,000 tickets).
Furthermore, purchasing methods like "3-Consecutive Single Tickets," "Lucky 100 Consecutive," and "Lucky Single Tickets" are also available. (Not available at all outlets) These are pre-set bundles of multiple tickets, adding new options beyond the standard "Consecutive" and "Single" tickets.

On the same day, a commemorative event was held at the Nishi-Ginza Chance Center in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, where many lottery fans lined up before sales began. Actress Yua Shinkawa, the "Jumbo Lottery" commercial character, and guest comedians Junpei Goto and Shusuke Fukutoku of the duo "Jaru Jaru" held a talk show.

Shinkawa, who plays the daughter making chocolate alongside the "samurai" portrayed by Koji Yakusho in the TV commercial "Samurai Talks About 300 Million Yen," shared a personal memory. She mentioned that during her student days, she couldn't bring herself to give Valentine's chocolates to a classmate she liked. Expressing enthusiasm, she said, "Making sweets is hard work, but I want to try making them this year." This prompted Jaru Jaru's duo to jokingly respond, "We'd love to receive them. We'd make them our staple food and eat even the wrappers!"

On stage, the three presented their "ideal Valentine's date plans if they won 300 million yen" using handwritten panels.

Dog lover Shinkawa shared her dream: "I'd build a dog daycare and date there." Goto then revealed a bold plan: "Date via private jet. With a snap of my fingers, I'd light up the Eiffel Tower. I calculated it'd cost less than 100 million yen, so I'd do it three times!"
Fukutoku presented rapidly: "Over 65 years until age 100, if we date once a month, that's about 380,000 yen per date! If weekly, we could spend just under 100,000 yen!" Though teased with "I don't know what I want to do" and "Either is fine," he finished with a satisfied expression, insisting, "Which your choice?"

When asked "What if you won 30 million yen?", Shinkawa shared, "I'd add more water stations and grass at the dog daycare," Goto stated, "I'd buy three cars worth 10 million yen each," and Fukutoku declared, "I'd want to experience winning the M-1 Grand Prix (10 million yen prize) three times." Each revealed uniquely personal dreams.

The "Valentine Jumbo" and "Valentine Mini" tickets cost 300 yen each and are on sale until February 22nd. They can also be purchased on the "Official Lottery Website," where credit card payments are accepted online. Additionally, benefits include earning one "Lottery Point" for every 100 yen spent. The draw will be held on March 5th at Sendai Sun Plaza Hall in Miyagi Prefecture.
