All Nippon Airways (ANA), an Official Partner of Tokyo 2020, held the "Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games One Year to Go Event" on July 23 at its Component Maintenance Building in Ota Ward, Tokyo, aiming to build momentum for the Games opening in just under a year.

Vice President Takashi Shiki (Head of the Olympic and Paralympic Promotion Division), dressed in the torchbearer uniform and holding a torch, took the stage and stated, "This summer, as we reach the one-year mark, under the slogan '1 Year to GO! Just one year until the Games!', we will implement special decorations at Haneda Airport from July 21 to September 6, and we will also participate in events hosted by the Games Organizing Committee and pursue various other initiatives."
He also announced that the same day, the company signed a "Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay Supporting Partnership Agreement" with the Organizing Committee. "Working together with Japan Airlines, which has also become a partner, we will safely and reliably transport the Olympic flame, a symbol of the Games. By contributing to the success of the Torch Relay, we aim to help build momentum for the Olympics, revitalize local communities, and support the creation of a wonderful Games," he stated.
Three members of the elementary school music unit Foorin rushed to the venue. The trio performed a dance routine to "Paprika," the song from the "NHK 2020 Support Song Project" written and composed by artist Kenshi Yonezu, alongside approximately 300 attendees. Ririko said with a smile, "I was nervous, but I'm happy I could dance happily with everyone." Hyuga added, "I want this song to energize many people in 2020 and beyond."
Actress Haruka Ayase, dressed in a pilot's uniform, appeared from the boarding stairs of the specially painted "HELLO 2020 JET" (B777-200 model) parked at the terminal, drawing cheers from the crowd.
Aoyama expressed her enthusiasm for the Games: "I want to learn many languages. People from all over the world will visit Japan. It would be fun to communicate with them even a little. I want to study languages more." She called out, "With one year left, let's head toward our dreams and hopes like the HELLO 2020 JET and get excited together!"
At the event's conclusion, attendees formed human letters by holding color panels to spell out "2020" and "1" as a collective creation.
