[Participants Wanted] "Shovel School" Special Event in Akasaka - Held in September

SCHOP SCHOOL (Organizer: SCHOP SCHOOL Executive Committee; Planning & Operation: EduSol, ROCKET Project for Discovering Exceptional Talents at the University of Tokyo's Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, follow your MUSE; Cooperation: MIT STUDIO, Math Girls, ifs Future Research Institute, Yama-Sakura), which cultivates children's sensitivity and expressive abilities, is recruiting participants for its "Special Event Akasaka" to be held in September (until August 20).

The event will be held at " TBS Akasaka Sacas." Choose from two courses: "Sakasu Hakare!!" or "EDM -English! Dance! Music!-".

Special Event 1: " Sakasu Hakare!! "

Use your body and mind to the fullest to measure the long distances and heights within Akasaka Sacas. Without relying on technology, can you become a human measuring stick?
Measure the height of the TBS headquarters building, the height of the studio, and the length of the slope in front of Sacas using only your own abilities.

Location: TBS Akasaka Sacas / TBS Broadcasting Center
 Date: Saturday, September 7, 2019
Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Registration opens at 9:45 AM)
 Participants: 3rd grade elementary school to 3rd grade junior high school ※Capacity: 12 people
Participation Fee: ¥3,000 (tax excluded)

Special Event 2 " EDM -English! Dance! Music!- "

Learn English and dance to the rhythm of music at Sakas Plaza!
This time, we've prepared two classes: "Junior Kids" for grades 1-3 and "Senior Kids" for grades 4-7, as a program where you can learn English and dance at the same time.

No dance experience? Don't understand English? No worries at all!
Why not join us and have fun learning while moving your body with our bilingual staff?

A. Junior Kids EDM

 Date: Saturday, September 21, 2019
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (scheduled)
 Participants: 1st to 3rd grade elementary school students ※Capacity: 20 participants
 Participation Fee: ¥2,000 (tax excluded)
*In case of rain, the event will be held inside TBS Gallery at Akasaka Sacas (program content will also change)

B. Senior Kids EDM
 Location: TBS Akasaka Sacas Plaza
 Date: Saturday, September 21, 2019
 Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (scheduled)
 Participants: 4th grade elementary school to 1st grade junior high school ※Capacity: 20 people
 Participation Fee: ¥2,000 (tax excluded)
