The Hideo Yoshida Memorial Foundation will hold the 53rd "Advertising Awards for Consumers Exhibition" and the 56th "Japan Magazine Advertising Awards Exhibition" at the Ad Museum Tokyo in Shiodome from January 24th to March 2nd. Both awards share the common principle of valuing the opinions of "consumers" and "readers."

The "Advertising for Consumers Contest," organized by the Japan Advertisers Association (JAA), held its first edition in 1961. Its defining feature is that the judging panel does not include advertising professionals; instead, consumer representatives, as the recipients of advertising, judge and select entries from a consumer perspective. The exhibition showcases top-ranked entries, including the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award and the JAA Award, from the five categories: newspaper ads, magazine ads, TV ads, radio ads, and websites.

The Japan Magazine Advertising Awards, organized by the Japan Magazine Advertising Association, were established in 1958 with the aim of contributing to the development of Japan's industry, economy, society, and culture. Each year, it honors magazine advertising works and their advertisers that demonstrate outstanding planning and technical skill. The exhibition features all 31 winning entries, including the top prize, the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award.
Additionally, a "Magazine-Created Brand Campaign" corner introduces examples of magazine-product collaborations, while also showcasing inaugural issues and digital magazines.
