Winners Announced for Creative Innovation Category of "ACC TOKYO CREATIVITY AWARDS"

ACC held the public presentations and final judging for the Creative Innovation category of the "2019 59th ACC TOKYO CREATIVITY AWARDS" on September 11, announcing the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award/ACC Grand Prix and other prizes.

The judging criteria were "Big Idea × Technology." Entries were sought for "Products & Services" and "Prototypes" created by the combination of ideas with the potential to shape the future and move society, multiplied by technology.

Nine teams that passed the second round of judging participated in the final judging session. Amidst the attention of general attendees and media gathered at the venue, each team presented their work using prepared videos and demonstrations with actual devices. Lively Q&A sessions unfolded with the judges. As a result, the top prize, the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award / ACC Grand Prix, was awarded to "Yasai Bus" by Yasai Bus / Hakuhodo / Standard. The ACC Gold Award went to "RETHINKING TOBACCO" by GRA&GREEN / Dentsu Inc. / Pict. Additionally, the ACC Silver and ACC Bronze Awards were decided.
