Boston Consulting Group (BCG Japan) signed a sponsorship agreement with the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee on November 15, becoming an Official Supporter of Tokyo 2020.
The contract category is "Professional Services (Strategy Consulting, Project Management, Planning and Operations Management Consulting)."
Hiroaki Sugita, Representative Director of BCG Japan, commented, "Since 1966, we have helped various companies and organizations in Japan identify opportunities for value creation and realize them. Leveraging our more than 50 years of consulting experience in Japan, we want to give our full support to the success of the Tokyo Games."
The company will use the Games' name and mark to help build momentum for the Olympic and Paralympic movements and support the Japanese national team.
Organizing Committee Chairman Yoshiro Mori commented, "The Organizing Committee has long received tremendous support from the company in formulating ticket pricing strategies and building roadmaps. As a pioneer in strategic consulting, we are delighted to have them become a supporter and aim for the Games' success as one united team."
