Aaron Z . Zhu, Creative Planner at Dentsu Inc ., author of the book "Job Hunting Design in the Year-Round Recruitment Era" (published by Hakutou Shobo), and writer of a commemorative serialization for the book's release in Web Dentsu Tsūhō, will be the speaker at the seminar "Job Hunting Design in the Year-Round Recruitment Era: The First Year of Abolishing Job Hunting Rules! What Will Happen?" Job Hunting in the Future," will be held at Dentsu Inc. Hall in Minato Ward, Tokyo, on December 10th. Participants are currently being recruited.
With Keidanren's 2018 announcement abolishing job-hunting rules, both companies and students face an uncertain future for recruitment. What does "self-branding" mean for job-hunting in "Japan, a laggard in recruitment," where students' anxieties are growing?
Aaron, who served in the U.S. Air Force ROTC during his time at the University of Southern California and has worked for major telecommunications companies, large IT firms, and startups across the U.S., China, and Japan, brings a unique perspective. He will discuss "what is happening to today's students" and "what must be done in future job hunting" from the viewpoint of an advertising industry planner.
