"Life-Saving Manners Newspaper" published in six newspapers to prevent the spread of COVID-19
Tokyo Good Manners Project (TGMP), advancing a new form of manners improvement initiative, collaborated with six newspapers—Asahi Shimbun, Sankei Shimbun, Tokyo Shimbun, Nikkei Shimbun, Mainichi Shimbun, and Yomiuri Shimbun—on April 22 to publish a message advertisement titled "Life-Saving Manners Newspaper" in their morning editions.
Amid a nationwide state of emergency declaration requiring actions to prevent the spread of infection, TGMP called on individuals to show consideration for others and take necessary actions to protect lives. Each of the six newspapers featured a different creative expression for this appeal.

Timed approximately one week before the annual Golden Week holidays, when nationwide travel increases, the message was delivered via newspapers—a medium easily accessible to the elderly, who are considered at higher risk of severe illness. The content was chosen to prompt awareness that "your small actions can save not only your own life but also the lives of those around you," encouraging immediate action.
Additionally, the TGMP official Twitter account encourages users to post good manners useful for infection prevention in daily life with the hashtag "#Today'sGood," aiming to promote better manners that protect lives.
