McDonald's Japan Launches Limited-Time Beef Burgers Popular Worldwide
McDonald's Japan launched three popular "meaty and delicious" beef burgers from McDonald's around the world on June 24 for a limited time. A second wave of new beef burgers is scheduled for release in mid-July.
Canada's "Mighty Beef Original" features a thick beef patty paired with a sauce characterized by smoky aroma and garlic-infused black pepper. The key to its flavor lies in the salty, smoky-flavored bacon bits.
The UK's "Smoky Barbecue" boasts a juicy beef patty, smoky bacon, and a special BBQ sauce infused with over 10 spices including black pepper and cinnamon, all sandwiched in a fluffy bun steamed in-store.
Meanwhile, McDonald's Japan has brought back the "Kalubi Mac," featuring a beef patty topped with flavorful kalubi (beef short ribs).
To coincide with the launch, the company is airing a TV commercial titled "The World's Beef Burgers Arrive" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fl-cFh7HNfI ) featuring freelance announcer Akira Fukuzawa. Fukuzawa enthusiastically introduces the three burgers, ending with his signature pose and the line, "Just meet the world's deliciousness!"
