[Recruitment Notice] Dentsu Group DS/AI Internship 2020 - Applications Now Open

AIインターンシップ

Dentsu Inc. and Data Artist are recruiting participants for the "Dentsu Group DS/AI Internship 2020," to be held online or at their respective headquarters buildings (both in Minato-ku, Tokyo) from October to November (applications accepted until noon on Friday, August 7).

This internship, jointly hosted by both companies for the first time last year, received an unexpectedly high number of student applications. Consequently, this year's program will be expanded in both scale and content. Participants will experience the Dentsu Group's data-related operations, including developing solution plans utilizing data science and AI-related technologies, as well as data analysis tasks.
Selection will involve an initial screening based on essays demonstrating understanding of data science and AI-related technologies, followed by interviews and presentations (remote options under consideration). Internship participants will be finalized by September.

A mini-webinar event is scheduled for July 31st. It will introduce the background of this internship program, the selection challenges, and showcase various data science and AI solutions developed by Dentsu Inc. and Data Artist.

Message from the Representative

To everyone interested in data science and AI:

It goes without saying that data science and AI have become indispensable to business. In advertising and marketing too, the process of formulating hypotheses, verifying them, and making improvements using various data has become standard practice.

Furthermore, the Dentsu Group has launched an internal cross-functional project called "AI MIRAI" to develop AI. Data Artist Inc. is the core development company within this initiative.

At the same time, advertising and marketing work is fundamentally communication work. It involves moving people emotionally and driving concrete behavioral changes, such as consumer actions. This requires more than just applying the latest algorithms to data. It demands ideas, creativity, and sensibility to determine what outputs to derive using data and AI as tools.

The Dentsu Group seeks hybrid talent possessing both "data and AI capabilities" and "planning capabilities."

Of course, no one excels at both from the start.
Ideally, through this internship, we hope to grow and sharpen our skills together.
We've prepared a variety of experiences to help you do just that.

Amid the current with-COVID environment, the advertising and marketing landscape is also undergoing drastic changes.
We look forward to discovering your fresh perspectives and talents (even if it's through a computer screen).

Let's shape the future of advertising and marketing with the power of "Data Science and AI."
