Entries Open for the "APAC Effie Awards 2021." Ashish Bhasin, CEO of Dentsu Inc. Asia Pacific, Appointed as Award Chairman

The "APAC Effie Awards 2021," recognizing effective marketing activities by global standards, has announced its outline for campaigns in the Asia-Pacific region and opened entries. Additionally, Ashish Bhasin, CEO of Dentsu Inc. Asia Pacific and Chairman of Dentsu India, has been appointed as the 2021 Awards Chairman.

The Effie Awards were established in 1968 by the American Marketing Association to recognize outstanding marketing results in each campaign's region. They are recognized worldwide by advertisers and agencies as a mark of excellence.
The newly announced "APAC Effie Awards 2021" will consider work launched between September 1, 2019, and December 31, 2020. Entries will be accepted until mid-March 2021.

Mr. Bassin, upon his appointment as Award Chairman, expressed his enthusiasm: "I am delighted to be appointed as the APAC Effie Awards Chairman. The Effies consistently shine a spotlight on outstanding work that benefits not only consumers but also brands. I look forward to seeing the best work from APAC alongside the judges."

Entry Deadline: Phased closures starting February 5, 2021; final deadline March 19
*Final deadline for submitting materials: April 5
*A grace period of approximately two weeks is provided after entry submission before final material submission
