Circle Up, Dentsu Inc.'s student club activity support service themed "Connecting Clubs and Society," is recruiting teams to participate in "Club Internship VOL.1," held over three days in October (applications accepted until September 17).
An internship that leverages club activities
Approximately 70% of university students join clubs.
Many students share stories about their club experiences during job hunting.
This internship views such club activities as a form of career experience,
allowing participants to test how well their regular activities translate into practical settings.

Application Period: Friday, August 27 - Friday, September 17, 12:00 PM
Eligible Groups: Current university students belonging to groups engaged in advertising, marketing, event management, or similar activities at domestic universities. This includes advertising research clubs, design-related circles, marketing-related seminars, etc. (University-recognized or non-recognized groups are both eligible).
Application Unit: Participate as a team of 2-3 people (selection tasks required)
※First-year students are eligible to apply
*All team members must belong to the same organization
※Each participant may join only one team (individuals cannot belong to multiple teams)
※Group registration on Circle Up is required to apply
Internship Overview: Plan and develop a promotional strategy for Circle Up, an app developed by Dentsu Inc. The winning club will receive activity support funds worth ¥100,000, plus a budget to realize the plan. You will collaborate with Dentsu Inc. creators to execute the promotion.

Business Designer
After working in the Sales Division, he won Silver at the 1st Sales Promotion Conference Awards and transitioned to planning. He subsequently placed in the same awards for five consecutive years. While handling promotions, he launched the internal venture "Circle Up," focused on "connecting clubs and society." It won the 2014 Good Design Award in the Business Model category. He later joined Dentsu Inc. Wakamon. Other awards include the One Show (USA), Red Dot Design Award (Germany), Kids Design Award, and Sales Promotion Conference Award. Author of books including "I Tried Job Hunting Using Advertising Methods" and "Why Do You All Start Talking About the Same Things When It Comes to Job Hunting?".
Representative, Dentsu Inc. Wakamon (Youth Research Department)
Since joining the company, he has been responsible for communication planning centered on SNS and web, as well as creative production direction. Since 2014, interested in quickly capturing the signs of new changes in society from the perspective of "young people = the first to become new," he joined Dentsu Inc. Wakamon and became its representative in 2020. Currently, while conducting youth research, he launched "Circle Up," an in-house service supporting student club activities, and is developing new youth-oriented business ventures.
Solution Planner
After working in the Out-of-Home Media Division on producing insert flyers, DMs, and media planning, she transferred to the Marketing Department. Handled a wide range of responsibilities including product branding, communication strategy development, and promotional planning for beverage/alcohol manufacturers, publishers, mobile carriers, artists, and more. Also conducted youth research targeting high school girls and university students, and carried out joint research with universities and companies. Joined Wakamon to develop services and products aimed at improving the society in which young people live.
Art Director
Guided by the motto "Create things that won't be ignored," he performs media-agnostic art direction and planning. Major works include: Suntory Decavita C "Local Characters That Are Too Energetic," mixi "Monster Strike Exists on Earth," NETFLIX "Boredom is a Crime," Morinaga Milk Industry "Pino Cute Packaging 50," Nissin Cup Noodle "Mystery Meat Increase," and music video production/branding for the female band CHAI. Major awards include New York ADC, London D&AD, and many others. Authored books include 'Creative Job Hunting: A Job Hunting Guide for Advertising Creatives' (2013) and 'Creative Job Hunting 2: A Job Hunting Guide for Creatives' (2021).
CM Planner, Copywriter
After joining Dentsu Inc., worked as a CM Planner and Copywriter in the Creative Bureau. Left Dentsu Inc. in July 2020 and founded kakeru. Notable past work includes KDDI's "Takasugi-kun: Too Conscious!" series and "Fuwachan Tried Making a Remote CM." Also serves as representative of Ebisu coffee shop "JANAI COFFEE."
