[Lecture Overview]
Dentsu Inc. Lab Approach: Teaching How to Create the Future. First installment: The Future of Young People (Generation Z).
"Dentsu Inc. Labs" is a cross-functional in-house think tank where each employee's problem awareness forms the basis of its activities. It represents a completely new organizational form that has become the engine driving innovation within the company. The diverse themes addressed by each lab—consumer insights, technology, environment, art, space, and more—also deepen members' expertise beyond their original departments. The "Dentsu Inc. Labs Future Lecture Series" introduces the diverse knowledge and initiatives from these labs, offering hints for breakthroughs for individuals and organizations.

The first session features Dentsu Inc. Youth Research Department (Dentsu Wakamon), presenting insights gleaned from the realities of Generation Z—a group gaining attention as the future drivers of economic activity—alongside values from the near-future. The theme this time is "Work Styles." Especially with the significant changes in the job-hunting environment due to COVID-19, it's a critical time to rethink recruitment practices. By introducing Generation Z's new values regarding work styles, emerging trends in corporate recruitment methods, and solution examples discovered through Wakamon's unique perspective, we aim to provide avenues for resolution.
