The joint project "Metaverse Production" by Dentsu Inc. Creative X, Tohoku Shinsha, and Hibino opened its large-scale permanent LED studios "studio PX ZERO" and "studio PX HIBINO" on January 14th. These studios form the foundational infrastructure for the project. Furthermore, Dentsu Inc. Creative Cube has joined as a partner, advancing "Metaverse Production" as a four-company initiative.
*PX stands for Production Transformation, a coined term signifying the transformation of video production.
"studio PX" is the collective name for the large-scale permanent LED studios developed by Metaverse Production. These studios serve as the foundation for providing the "PX Services" that Metaverse Production plans to develop and offer, in addition to their primary purpose of enabling standard virtual production filming.
The large-scale permanent LED studio opening at FACTORY (formerly Yokohama Super Factory) Tsurumi Studio from January 14 to March 31 will be named "studio PX ZERO." The in-camera VFX studio Hibino VFX Studio, located within the Hibino Hinode Building, will be named "studio PX HIBINO." Both locations will open as "studio PX" starting January 14.
Going forward, we will focus on developing and providing "PX Services" to meet diverse needs. We aim to present a new approach to video production, enabling its use across a wide range of projects—from budget-friendly video production to high-end projects. We will strive to make our "Metaverse Production" initiative, which targets reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving process efficiency in video production, the future standard.
