The "Web Dentsu Inc. × WASEDA NEO Collaborative Lecture Series," an online lecture for working professionals delivered through the collaboration of " WASEDA NEO," a co-creation space for sparking true innovation, and "Web Dentsu Inc.," will be held on February 28.
The theme for this session is "The Future of a Super-Aged Society Pioneered by AgeTech."
The lecturer is Toru Saito from Dentsu Inc. Senior Lab. The participation fee is ¥3,300, and registration is open until 1:00 PM on the day of the event.

【Lecture Overview】
Learn Dentsu Inc.'s lab-style approach to creating the future. Part 2: The Future of a Super-Aged Society.
"Dentsu Inc.'s Labs" are cross-functional internal think tanks where each employee's problem awareness forms the basis of activities. This lecture series introduces insights and initiatives from various labs covering diverse themes like consumer insights, technology, environment, art, and space, providing hints for breakthroughs for individuals and organizations.
The second session features Dentsu Inc. Senior Lab, focusing on "Age Tech" – a core element of new industrial innovation within data science. Age Tech can be succinctly defined as "digital innovation in services and solutions targeting the elderly." It is expected to generate methods that address various challenges arising from an aging society, and such movements are now clearly emerging both domestically and internationally. This lecture will discuss the current state of Age Tech, including overseas developments, using specific case studies.

Toru Saito
Born in 1958. Specializes in super-aged societies and future forecasting. After working at Seibu Department Store, the Distribution Industry Research Institute (Saison Research Institute), and PARCO, he joined Dentsu Inc. as Senior Research Director at Dentsu Senior Lab. Certified Social Worker. Publications include: "Creating Problem-Solving Businesses to Reduce 'Troubles' in a Super-Aged Society" (Shoeisha), "A Social History of Shopping Malls" (Sairyusha), "Marketing in a Super-Aged Society" (Diamond Inc.), "Why Kichijoji Became 'The Most Desirable Place to Live Right Now'" (Bunsin Publishing), and "Introduction to Developmental Science" (co-authored, University of Tokyo Press).
