Takuma Takasaki, ECD at Dentsu Inc., wins 2013 "Creator of the Year" award

Takuma Takasaki, Executive Creative Director (ECD) at Dentsu Inc., has been awarded the 2013 "Creator of the Year" prize by the Japan Advertising Association (JAA).

This award, presented by the Japan Advertising Association to an individual creator from its member companies who produced the most outstanding creative work in 2013, marks its 25th edition since its inception in 1989. This is the 23rd time a Dentsu Inc. creator has been selected.

Takasaki ECD was honored for the second time, following his 2010 win, for "delivering memorable creative work that captivated people, truly embodying the spirit that 'every job represents Japan,'" by devising and implementing various strategies to secure the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games bid, and overseeing all aspects of the bid effort, including the final presentation video.
