The "AICHI SAFETY ACTION" project was selected for the Zenkyoren Saburosuke Suzuki Grand Prize.

The All Japan Advertising Federation (AJAF) announced on April 11 that the 8th "AJAF Saburosuke Suzuki Grand Prize" was awarded to the AICHI SAFETY ACTION Secretariat (Secretariat: Chunichi Shimbun), which planned and implemented the initiative.

AICHI SAFETY ACTION was launched primarily by ten media companies in response to Aichi Prefecture having the highest number of traffic fatalities for ten consecutive years. It implemented various measures to raise awareness about accident prevention by sharing concrete traffic accident data and case studies, ultimately driving action. Its achievement in using diverse media to widely communicate a public theme, thereby changing the awareness and behavior of prefectural residents, and leveraging the power of advertising to unite the region in advancing the initiative was highly evaluated.

Additionally, the Special Prize of the All Japan Advertising Federation's Saburōsuke Suzuki Grand Prize Selection Committee was awarded to two entries: the Niigata Nippo newspaper's "2011-2013: Let's Talk About Life." campaign and the Kumamoto Prefecture Public Relations Division's "~Red Cheeks! Delicious Cheeks! Kumamoto (Kumamon's Cheek Disappearance Incident)."

Both awards were formally approved at the Zen-Kōren Board of Directors meeting on April 18th. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place during the 62nd Zen-Kōren Nagoya Convention ceremony held in Nagoya City on May 14th.
