Singapore-based ★ High-value sports viewing seats sell out on the same day

The high-value-added "Hospitality Seats" at the new Singapore Sports Hub stadium, developed and sold by Dentsu Inc. Sports Asia in collaboration with the promoter, sold out immediately, demonstrating their immense popularity.

These seats were created for the Japan vs. Brazil soccer friendly match scheduled at the stadium in October. Priced at 588 Singapore dollars (approximately 50,000 yen), the 150 seats offered a combination of seats providing an up-close viewing experience, meals, and match merchandise.

Kunihito Morimura, President and CEO of Dentsu Sports Asia, expressed enthusiasm: "Across Asia, the rapid growth of affluent consumers is driving demand for higher quality experiences in leisure activities like sports and entertainment. Dentsu Sports Asia was quick to recognize this trend and commercialize it. The immediate sell-out reaffirms this demand. The buyer mix was well-balanced between corporate and individual customers. We also had purchases from Thailand and Cambodia, and we now actively consider expanding into Southeast Asia. Furthermore, we plan to use this opportunity to develop databases and explore affluent consumer marketing."

Established in December 2010 as the Dentsu Group's Asian hub for sports business, Dentsu Sports Asia has shown growth exceeding 25% annually since its first year of operation. Its activities span international events, content development, and entertainment beyond sports.

The Singapore Sports Hub, a redevelopment of the former National Stadium with a massive total project cost of S$1.33 billion (approximately ¥110 billion), partially opened in June this year. Centered around the new National Stadium, which boasts the world's largest diameter roofed column-free dome, the complex includes an Aquatic Centre, indoor sports venues, and a shopping center. Its full opening is scheduled for next year.
