Ad Museum Tokyo Exhibition of Award-Winning Works from the Japan Magazine Advertising Awards

The "57th Japan Magazine Advertising Awards Exhibition" is being held at the Ad Museum Tokyo in Shiodome from January 9th (until March 1st).

Alongside the award-winning entries, the exhibition showcases the latest examples of activities leveraging the experience and techniques cultivated by magazine advertising. Visitors can enjoy the appeal of magazines and magazine advertising, which share deep bonds with consumers and readers.

The Japan Magazine Advertising Awards (organized by the Japan Magazine Advertising Association, supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) were established in 1958 to enhance the quality of magazine advertising and contribute to the development of Japan's industry, economy, society, and culture. Each year, it honors magazine advertising works and their advertisers that demonstrate outstanding planning and technical skill, reaching its 57th edition in 2014.

This year, after final judging from 4,307 entries, 15 Gold Awards and 16 Silver Awards were decided. The top prize, the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award, was won by Panasonic's magazine advertisement for its portable bidet, "Handy Towel Slim." Panasonic was also selected for the Grand Prize, awarded to advertisers demonstrating outstanding achievements, including the number of awards won.
