At the outset, President Kazuo Kawamura stated, "We aim to expand the world of deliciousness and enjoyment for all age groups, meet expectations for health and safety, and continue creating value that leads the food market." He introduced new products developed under this philosophy: "Amino Collagen Yogurt," combining beauty collagen and LB81 lactic acid bacteria; "Meiji Probio Yogurt PA-3," containing lactic acid bacteria that combat purines; and "Zavas Milk," offering an easy way to consume milk protein.

Kenji Yamaji, Head of Functional Evaluation Research Departments 1 & 2 at the company's Food Function Science Research Institute, presented research findings on "The Potential of Yogurt Containing Collagen Peptides and Milk Ceramide for Skin Care." Yukio Asami, Head of Lactic Acid Bacteria Research, presented on "PA-3 Lactic Acid Bacteria Acting on Purines." Shuji Ikegami, Head of Sports Nutrition Research, presented on "Discovering New Possibilities with Milk Protein." They demonstrated how each of these findings was applied to the new products.

These research findings will be presented sequentially at various academic conferences going forward.

Additionally, Tetsuro Furuta, Yogurt Marketing Department Manager, City Dairy Sales Headquarters, Dairy Products Unit, explained the 2015 marketing strategy. He outlined promotional plans aligned with product characteristics, including TV commercials, transportation and web advertising, and store proposals incorporating tasting events.

Appearing on stage as guests were women's wrestlers Saori Yoshida and Kaori Icho, dressed in ceremonial kimono for Setsubun. Both avid fans of Meiji products, they showed keen interest in the new items. Next, Magician Maggy Shiro, the character for Meiji's milk beverage "Shiro no Hitotoki," took the stage. He fired off his signature comedic routines, energizing the audience. He then made the character "必勝" (Victory) appear on a giant yogurt ehomaki roll for 100 people, wishing for the wrestlers' victories. The two shared their aspirations: "I want to become beautiful from the inside out with Amino Collagen Yogurt," and "I'll drink Savas Milk and do my best in my matches."
