Dentsu Inc. Launches New Smartphone Coupon Service "Tokuzo" ―Consumers can obtain physical store products "free of charge" through actions like downloading the app―
Dentsu Inc., allfuz (hereinafter "Orfas"), and Interspace have developed and launched "Tokuzo," a coupon service that allows users to obtain products from physical stores "for free" in exchange for actions like downloading apps.
Tokuzo is a new smartphone service that allows consumers to obtain free coupons usable at physical stores by downloading smartphone apps provided by participating companies or registering for service memberships via its website ( https://tokuzo.ne.jp ).
For consumers, the benefit is that presenting the coupon screen at participating physical stores allows them to receive eligible products for free. For companies offering apps or services through "Tokuzo," leveraging the high incentive of physical store products helps promote app downloads and member acquisition.
While digital incentives like virtual currency (points/coins) or in-game items have traditionally been the main incentives for promoting app downloads, the newly developed "Tokuzo" now enables the provision of free coupons usable at actual stores as incentives. This is expected to attract a broader range of users across generations, regardless of consumer attributes.
For this service, the three companies have formed the "Tokuzo Secretariat." Dentsu Inc. handles service planning and production, as well as communication strategy development. Orfas manages service operations and promotional planning. Interspace provides and operates the affiliate system that drives traffic to corporate websites.
The service usage flow, coupon-eligible products, characters, and company overviews of the two companies are as follows.

■About Eligible Products for Coupons
The lineup of eligible products will change monthly, primarily featuring items from Seven-Eleven's private brand "Seven Premium," along with products like Seven Cafe items, rice balls, prepared foods, and confectionery. Furthermore, we will continue to expand the range of eligible products by partnering with various companies.
Through this service, consumers will be able to select and obtain their favorite eligible products for free when downloading smartphone apps or performing similar actions.
