Dentsu Inc.'s overseas headquarters, Dentsu Aegis Network, has reached an agreement with Flexmedia shareholders regarding the acquisition of a 51% stake in the Thai digital agency Flexmedia Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Flexmedia"), along with an option for the Dentsu Group to make it a wholly-owned subsidiary in the future.
Established in 2005, Flexmedia provides digital services centered on internet advertising to both global and local companies. Building on strong trust from its client companies, it has achieved rapid growth and is now a full-service digital agency.
Its services span monitoring/data analysis, brand consulting, advertising creative, SEO/SEM, website production, and media planning/buying. It is particularly renowned for innovative marketing approaches utilizing cutting-edge digital technology, contributing to improved ROI (Return on Investment) for its client companies.
Following the acquisition, the Dentsu Group will merge Flexmedia with the local subsidiary of iProspect, one of the Dentsu Group's global network brands with strengths in the digital performance domain. The merged entity will be renamed Flexmedia iProspect. This business combination will broaden the scope of services in the digital domain and establish a position to aim for market leadership in the digital performance space.
Going forward, Flexmedia iProspect will collaborate with other Dentsu Group companies operating in Thailand to provide customers with high-value-added solutions.
