Hiroshima Television Broadcasting is running a project titled "THANK YOU, NEW YORKERS! WE ARE KURODA FANS." utilizing "Telebi de Funding," Japan's first crowdfunding site operated by a television station. The goal is to express gratitude to New York fans of professional baseball pitcher Hiroki Kuroda, who played for the New York Yankees for three years before returning to the Hiroshima Toyo Carp this year. Funds raised from Japanese fans via the site will be used to place a thank-you advertisement in the New York free paper "Metro US (NY Edition)" (circulation approx. 300,000 copies).

By sending this message of gratitude from Hiroshima to New York, the project aims to unite the sentiments of "Kuroda fans in Hiroshima (Japan)" and "KURODA fans in New York," bringing them together as one to support the player.
Perks for a ¥5,000 donation include having your name featured in the ad, being listed as a supporter on the project's official homepage, and receiving a copy of the original published newspaper (one copy).
