The Aichi Advertising Association held the award ceremony for its new advertising prize, the "AICHI AD AWARDS 2015," at the International Design Center in Nagoya City on July 15. An exhibition of the winning works is also being held at the same venue (until the 20th).
Grand Prix winners: Hiroaki Hasegawa (second from left) and Kohei Matsushita (third from left) of Shinto Tsushin, alongside Shigeo Okamoto, Honorary Chairman of the Chubu Design Organizations Council (left), and Shinya Nakajima, Head Judge (right)
The association has held the "Aichi Advertising Association Award" 39 times with the aim of fostering collaboration and nurturing advertising creators within the prefecture. This year, marking its 40th anniversary, it revamped the format and launched the "AICHI AD AWARD 2015" – "an advertising award by creators, for creators."
The judging panel featured top creators: Shinya Nakajima (Tohoku Shinsha), Norihito Niimura (Niimura Design Office), Masayoshi Tanigawa (Tanigawa Advertising), Michihito Dobashi (Dentsu Inc. Chubu Branch), Morihiro Morino (Mori), and Shinichi Fukusato (One Sky).
The Grand Prix was awarded to the "When Pigeons Become a Problem, Call Amemiya" campaign by Amemiya, a comprehensive residential maintenance company, entered by Shinto Tsushin. The full list of winners and judges' comments can be viewed on the Aichi Advertising Association website.
