The Hideo Yoshida Memorial Foundation will hold a public talk event at the Ad Museum Tokyo in Shiodome on August 12 as part of its 50th anniversary commemorative activities. The theme is "Wonderful Advertising, A Glimpse of the Future: Seeing the Future Through Advertising's Past." Participants are currently being recruited (free of charge).
Speakers include: writer Yoshiro Okada, author of the book "To You Crossing the River of Media: The Story of Shoichi Kotani" (published by Voyager) and a serial contributor to this Dentsu Inc. newsletter, and Professor Tatsuro Sato of Tama Art University, who has received numerous awards and served as a judge at events including the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Drawing on case studies, these three industry watchers with decades of experience will examine the past, present, and future of advertising.
