Thailand★Yoshimoto Kogyo to Launch Japan-Focused Program in November; Wacky to Appear Speaking Thai

MCIP Holdings, backed by investors including Yoshimoto Kogyo and Dentsu Inc., will begin airing the Japanese information program "Original Japan" (30 minutes every Saturday at 9:00 PM) on Thailand's commercial broadcaster Amarin TV starting in November. The first episode is scheduled for the 21st. This was reported by NNA, which distributes economic information across Asia.

This quiz show about Japanese technology and products is co-produced with local companies. Filming takes place in both Japan and Thailand. Wacky from the Thai-speaking comedy duo "Penalty" will also appear on the program.

MCIP Holdings was established last October by Yoshimoto Kogyo in partnership with the public-private fund Cool Japan Organization and Dentsu Inc., among others. The company has been actively expanding its entertainment operations in Asia, including establishing Yoshimoto Entertainment (Thailand) in 2013, its first local subsidiary in Southeast Asia.
